Sydney FC defender Sebastian Ryall has been suspended for one A-League game after being sent off in his side's loss to Melbourne Heart on Sunday.

The 23-year-old was show a red card in the 54th minute of the Sky Blues' 3-1 loss at AAMI Park for dragging down David Williams in the penalty box.

Williams converted from the spot to seal the crucial win that lifted the Heart into the top six and dropped Sydney FC to seventh.
Ryall was handed the suspension by the match review panel on Monday, meaning he'll miss Saturday's away clash against Perth Glory.
